The United Kingdom 2014-15

Sometimes we need to return home, to shore up, regroup and reassess.  But that doesn't mean we need to stop exploring.  After five years outside of the UK I have returned back to find a beautiful nature.

Red kites soared overhead descending close, right over our heads. Swifts darted between and around us, pulling the most impressive of aerobatic turns to prey on flying insects. Song thrushes perched on the bowed ends of reeds sang their sweet melody. A cuckoo interrupted and a woodpecker punctuated. That's Why.

Prolonged a trip up to Glasgow with a weekend on the Isle of Arran. Filmed with my iphone.

The Brecon Beacons national park in Wales is one of the UK's foremost national parks. This New Year's we celebrated the calendar reset in these magical hills. Filmed on iphone. soundtrack: Shimmy Shimmy Ko Ko Bop - Little Anthony and the Imperials

I spent this summer's solstice, 21st June 2014, in gorgeous Cornwall, only a few hours from Bristol. There are wonders on everyone's doorstep. Great weekend with Explorers Connect.
